Psychotherapy

Finding a therapist can often feel daunting and overwhelming. Especially when you are experiencing emotional pain and confusion.

I offer a safe, confidential space for you to begin this journey without fear or judgement.

Therapy can provide you with an outlet to work through areas of your life in which you feel stuck and where emotional blocks have left you feeling stagnated.

Therapy can also provide you with a space to explore your current attachments to life, your loved ones and any unhealed traumas.

Walking alongside you, I will help you to connect with your true and authentic self, enabling you to live a more balanced and happy life.

About Me

I am a transcultural, integrative, transpersonal psychotherapist.

My journey to psychotherapy began in university during my Bachelor of Arts when I studied the history of psychotherapy, completing my dissertation on shellshock (PTSD) and masculinity in the inter war years. My subsequent training as an integrative, transpersonal psychotherapist has equipped me with robust theoretical and practical knowledge in psychotherapy.

I am equipped with skills and tools that cover psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, and person-centred therapies. For clients who struggle to express themselves through words, this can include working creatively with art, sandtray, journalling, and other outlets to express their thoughts and emotions. We will work together to find the safest outlet for you.

My experience working with clients covers a range of presenting issues, including but not restricted to:

  • Attachment issues

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Self-Harm

  • Eating Disorders

  • Complex Childhood Trauma

My therapeutic practice is diverse and reflects the changing world we live in. I work with clients from all backgrounds, nationalities and walks of life. All are welcome.

I practice in person in Central London, Southwest London and also online.

I am accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and an Individual Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to the UKCP, BACP and Professional Standards Authority (PSA) Code of Ethics.

Therapy Provided

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy.

Short Term: This is a 6-week contract. In these sessions we will work with a specific presenting issue and set achievable goals in order for you to incorporate the tools used into your life to assist with the issue. Please note that not all presenting issues can be helped with short term therapy.

Long term/open ended therapy: This type of therapy has no end date but is ongoing and will allow you to unpack your presenting issues and triggers at your own pace. The aim is to go deeper than surface level to explore and heal the root cause of your issues. The goal of this therapy is for you to reach a point in which you have enough internal and external resources to function well without therapy. In effect you will become your own therapist.

Your commitment

Therapy is in effect a commitment to yourself. Weekly attendance will be key to both your process and progress. It is important that you reflect on this and your capacity to keep to this commitment prior to starting therapy.

Initial Assessment

I offer a free 15-minute introductory zoom call in which we will discuss your therapeutic needs.
